Workshops on how to trace your roots and discover your family history will be held in several locations on Saturday, Jan. 14, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The program will vary at each location, but all will be an introduction on how to do family history research. For each location, participants should bring their electronic devices: phones, tablets, laptop, etc. Admission is free. Registration is requested but not required.

In Conyers, nine classes will be offered, including How to Start Family History Research, in both English and Spanish; African-American Research, personal history research; How to Use Legacy, Roots Magic, Family Tree Maker and Family Search, as well as instruction on how to index information found in census data and other documents.
